IJEA All-Region Bands
2026 IJEA All-Region Jazz Bands
November 21-22, 2026
IJEA is proud to host All-Region Honor Jazz Bands at two sites across the state allowing middle school jazz musicians the opportunity to expand their jazz experience beyond their own school. Directors need to first register their school to allow applications to be accepted and then students are able to then apply online.
Students are selected based on their application and director evaluations. Selected students will then rehearse as an ensemble with students from other schools under a professional jazz guest director on Saturday. The next day brings a terrific performance. If accepted the cost of participation is $50 which includes lunch during the Saturday rehearsal and a t-shirt to commemorate the occasion.

All-Region Application Form Information
Application Form Procedure
- Directors must be members of IJEA in good standing. Directors will start a school entry form by logging into the IJEA website.
- Students are to fill out the online application form below using the school code given to them by their directors.
- At the close of the application period, directors will be asked to fill out an online evaluation for each of their students that completed an application.
- All-Region ensembles will be chosen by committee to attend the All-Region weekend
- There will be a $50 participation fee (includes t-shirt and lunch on rehearsal day) for all selected students that will be due upon arrival at site.

November 21, 2026 - Rehearsals at Performance Sites (Schedules set by Host School).
